Ladies Sodality
The
Sodality is responsible for helping St. Anthony Church to the best of its
financial ability. The Ladies raise
money with the help of the quilters group and a major fundraiser luncheon in
October. All ladies of the parish are
welcome. Meetings are held at 7:00 PM in
the cafeteria, on the second Thursday of every month with a few exceptions. Please feel free to join us anytime.
Duties/Events coordinated by Ladies:
· Sending
get well cards to members and the sick of the parish and have masses said
· If a
member dies, we have a mass said, say the rosary at the funeral and serve a
luncheon at the request of the family
· Host
a May dinner at a nearby restaurant
· Participate
in the parish Christmas bazaar and picnic with craft and baked goods booths
· Have
a Christmas party at the December meeting
· Assist
Shut-In dinners and prepare food for meals
· Clean
church
· Organize
Birthright shower in April and Veterans collection in November
